Thirty minutes of intense portraits
directed by Abiola Abrams and David Lackey. David Lackey and Terren Baker designed this exhibit using sound, textiles &
visual art. Caribbeans originally migrated to work on Connecticut farms. "It was challenging to direct this documentary
to be compatible with the exhibit, but it is empowering to show that the Caribbean is more than a European playground. How
do you retain your culture and assimilate enough to survive in a new land? "
